How times have changed, early days were linked to a land line communication device known as the TELEPHONE giving birth to the most widely used word Hello, the word remains the same but the TELEPHONE has changed, it changed into some thing magical, it changed into some thing small, it changed into something that can now display video and pictures, it changed into something that can speak in a females voice to direct us through the concrete jungle that we all live in, it changed into a focal point of attraction and fashion, it became a focal point of many books/mags, it changed into something we can take with us around the world, it changed into some thing that has become an important part of human body, we just have to be seen with it, it may well become an integrated part of our bodies.

Well it’s a mobile phone dominated world (not female dominated) and it continues to grow (the world and the mobile phone), land line phone requires wire connections and may produce a better quality voice clarity and costs less but then it would be difficult to take it out to the park or the car and go wireless.

The big question is, are the days for the land line phone numbered?, what I mean by that is that the VHS devise the video recorder or should I say who killed the video star it certainly was a tremendous hit when it appeared but now its been pushed out of English vocabulary.

Drilling holes for wires to pass through the house walls and any thing that comes in its way is the Landline Telephone.........................do we need it, will it survive, do we need it to survive?
